Dawn Hiestand
BS Health/Nutrition/PE, CSCS, Reiki I II
Dawn has been in the health field for over 21 years. She is degreed and certified in health and nutrition. Her start was in corporate fitness, then she progressed to fitness management and running a women's weight loss center. She currently owns and operates The Rejuvenation Center located in Lancaster Pennsylvania where she can focus on hormone health, detoxification, weight loss and cellular nutrition with local clients. She also started Infinity Health, a national consulting company, that provides weight loss franchises and doctors with education and supplements to aid their clients/patients in balancing hormones and relieving many "sub-clinical" health issues.
Her main area of interest is the connection between stress and weight gain allowing her to be the "Stress and Weight Gain" expert for Ediets upon their venture into website chats. Other areas of concentration in complimentary medicine are hormone health, detoxification, aromatherapy and energy work. Over the years she has enjoyed lecturing on a national level on hormone health and writing on the topic of weight management for the national subscription-based magazine called Pounds Aweigh. She was then published internationally in Aromatherapy and Wellbeing magazine for her original work in developing the "Conditioned Response" Program which utilizes meditative visualization, aromatherapy and sound wave therapy to aid in behavior modification and body balance for weight loss. This program was also mentioned twice in the leading women's fitness magazine Oxygen.
Dawn and her former colleague completed a Breast Cancer Research Project. This preliminary study, done on breast cancer survivors, tested specific hormone profile's connections to breast cancer occurrences via saliva testing (Bio Health Lab, CA). The findings will be tabulated by West Chester University Research Center, (West Chester, Pa.) and then considered for a government grant to fund an expanded study.
Dawn's interest in starting the Becoming... Hormonal Metabolic Correction weight loss program was due to her struggle with her own weight due to a mercury toxicity. This led to her many years of research for her book on "sub-clinical" conditions related to weight gain. She has seen a new trend in the "Baby Boomers" of slowed metabolism loss due to factors such as excess stress, toxins, yeast and hormonal imbalances. After losing 35 lbs. herself on the hCG program she adopted Dr. Simeon's protocol and added her expertise in the "psychological" aspects of weight loss including relaxation techniques and emotional cleansing. After the weight loss goal is met, further client education on how to "anchor" the body is essential to keeping the weight off. This can be determined by the clients specific sub-clinical issues such as food sensitivities as well as their digestive and hormonal imbalances.

Sheila McDowell
Sheila has been in the health and fitness field for over 20 years.
Her love of fitness resulted in being recruited as a client consultant by one of the largest fitness companies in the country, Bally’s Total Fitness. She also received her Personal Trainers certification at this time. She was then promoted to Assistant Manager in one of the largest clubs in Maryland.
After her move to Pennsylvania she was recruited for a membership services position at Lancaster’s fastest growing, and now largest, athletic facility. While there she held the positions of Personal Trainer, Fitness Coordinator, Aquatic Manager, Wellness Consultant, Lifestyle Coach, Pre and Post Natal Consultant, and eventually, Director of Membership Service. While at the facility she continued to workout, take classes and play tennis.
Upon her development of Fibromyalgia, she was prompted to further research the connection of sub-clinical conditions, such as stress, lifestyle behaviors and nutrition, on a persons overall health and mental well-being. Her weight gain that came along with menopause and the ensuing changes in mood and energy made it hard to shed the weight by just eating right and exercising. This started her interest in aiding “Baby Boomer” women in changing this nutritional and lifestyle habits to be able to lose weight.
Her past work with Dawn Hiestand for many years in the health field brought them back together when Dawn approached her about consulting on the Becoming... Hormonal Metabolic Correction protocal and expanding the program.
Sheila is now pursuing her Certified Natural Health Professional Certification to further assist clients on their ongoing nutrition and wellness goals beyond the Becoming... Hormonal Metabolic Correction weight loss program.

Michelle Brandt
Licensed Massage Therapist
Michelle chose to pursue massage because she loves to help people. She is also interested in the holistic approach to helping maintain a balanced, healthy body. Her biggest reward as a massage therapist is seeing the reactions of people after a treatment.
She believes that massage is very therapeutic for both the body and mind. Not only does Michelle help clients relieve their pain from tensed muscles, but she helps relax and ease the mind. This in turn lends a helping hand in decreasing muscle tension. She believes integrating massage into one’s life as a normal practice will help in magnitudes of ways.
Michelle completed her certification for massage at Lancaster School of Cosmetology and Therapeutic Bodywork in March of 2009. She has been working in the field full time since graduation and is proficient in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Ayurvedic Treatments, Hot Stone, Trigger Point Therapy, Chair Massage, Body Scrubs, and Body Wraps. |
